Three Macaws, two Scarlet Macaws (Ara macao) and one Blue-and-yellow Macaw (Ara ararauna) at the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Colwyn Bay
The Red-Faced Spider Monkey (Ateles paniscus) (Guiana spider monkey or red-faced black spider monkey) at the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
This guy was awesome, he was climbing around randomly until i walked over. As soon as i did he came as close to me as he could, posed for a picture, i thanked him, then he went back to his climbing.
The Welsh Mountain Zoo’s two Mississippi alligators (Alligator mississippiensis), also know as the American Alligator.
These guys were pretty big but I didn’t get the same feeling seeing them as I did seeing the 10 foot monster in the wild when i was in Florida.
A male and female Bactrian camel (Camelus bactrianus). These pictures were taken at the Welsh Mountain Zoo during the camel’s mating season, the male can be seen in the second picture flicking his tail to cover himself in urine.
